Registration for 2025 Summer Camp
About the Camp
Roar Taekwondo’s Summer Camp is unique and offers many more benefits than traditional camps seen around. Our teaching principles and philosophies are instilled in our campers through Taekwondo, while offering many fun and exciting activities.
Our camp consists of three age groups:
Little Lions Group (ages 4–5)
Youth Group I (ages 6–8)
Youth Group II (ages 9 and up)
This summer sign your child up to participate in group activities, get plenty of exercise, play games and be encouraged to try new sports. Our Taekwondo Camp is designed to teach kids healthy living habits, keep them active, stimulate their minds, work on coordination, and reduce summer boredom. Children will be supervised and trained qualified Masters and experienced assistants.
Our program is structured from 9am to 2pm with a weekly field trip. Extended hours are offered if needed from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
During our summer program, our students enjoy movies, arts & crafts, bowling, games, skating, swimming, Gaming Truck, Mad Science, tournaments and of course, Taekwondo!
What to bring everyday:
Camp T-Shirt

Boxed/bagged lunch and 2 snacks
Bottled Water
Extra pair of socks every day
Crocks and Flipflops are permitted daily except on Field Trip days
Thursday: Bring a bathing suit, towel, extra bag for wet clothes, sunscreen, and floaties if needed
** Full Taekwondo uniforms are not required during summer camp.

Activities
As part of the Summer Camp, we offer the students to also enjoy activities outside of the studio, this is done to enhance learning opportunities and show your child different passions and experiences they may enjoy.
These activities range from going to the movies, doing arts & crafts, bowling, games, skating, swimming, Gaming Truck, Mad Science, tournaments and of course, Taekwondo!
We also have theme weeks throughout the summer to help foster creativity and opportunity to dig deeper on certain topics. The theme weeks are posted here before the summer starts so you will know and have the information needed.

June 9th - 13th
Children will learn about the language, culture, customs, and etiquette of Korea.

Children will learn to identify and prevent bullying. We will practice safely standing up to and getting help for bullying.

June 23rd - 27th
Alongside their Taekwondo training, students will learn about and practice other sports from different countries around the world.

Bollywood dance is a fun work-out with simple, high-energy, and cardio dance moves from India and around the globe.

July 7th - 11th
Students will explore the numerous weapons taught in martial arts! For their safety, all practice will be done with padded weapons.

Science is coming to Roar! Students will observe and partake in hands-on lab experiments.

Students can create their own or bring in their favorite superhero or dress up as them! Students learn about real life heroes and the skills/qualities that make a hero.

July 28th - Aug 1st
Calling all Gamers! During this week, we will battle each other in electronic game wars and learn various coding apps. They will get a chance to bring their electronic devices to be creative and share kid-friendly codes.

Aug 4th - 8th
Students will learn about nature through outdoor activities and field trips. They will also have a chance to meet live animals!

Aug 11th - 15th
Students will learn about healthy competition in Taekwondo and how it can benefit their performance and confidence and observe and safely learn the different levels of breaking techniques in Taekwondo.

Each year our Summer camp leaders consists of our regular instructors as well as a select few senior belts or senior students who have shown the same care and drive to teach the students throughout the summer!


Frequently Asked Questions.
The Summer Camp is open to all school-aged children from 4-14. The class has a mix of ages and belts, so your child will fit in just fine! Every child needs to be potty trained.
Yes you can still join! No prior experience is necessary. Your child will learn the art of Taekwondo this summer!
Our class schedule is available on our classes page. We update our schedule during the summer months to account for the summer camp, so be sure to continue to reference it throughout the year. We will also notify you if your child’s class time changes.
Our Taekwondo studio main doors are open during business hours, when you arrive you can come in and find a spot to place your shoes and belongings. An instructor will greet you as you come in to give you further instructions.
You will drop off your child at 9am (or earlier if extended is preferred), and pickup your child at 2pm (or up to 6pm if preferred).

- Summer Camp: 5 days
- Afterschool: 2, 3 or 5 day options
- All other regular child and adult classes: 2, 3, 4 or 5 day options
